Carbon Reduction Commitment Energy Efficiency Scheme (CRC EES for short) was brought in by
the Energy Act 2010. It is a mandatory scheme aimed at improving energy efficiency and cutting
emissions in large public and private sector organisations.

The scheme operates in phases and registration for the first phase was based on electricity used in
2008.

What we do? We manage your CRC obligations and provide a strategy to mitigate CRC costs. We
can work with your in-house team, or take the whole administrative burden from you, providing
annual monitoring, registration, annual reporting, footprint reporting and budgeting exercises.

The fines from calculating CO2 incorrectly are high (£40 per tonne), so take piece of mind that
