Despite the gloomy economy, government, banks and some large companies have ploughed funds
into helping you. This can come in the form of monies to pay for research and development in the
low and zero carbon arena if you have a new idea or product or you want to explore how something
will work with your process. It can also come in attractive finance rates to allow you to purchase
a wind turbine or LED lighting. Additionally there are some grants available where a need can be
proved that a project wouldn’t go ahead without government support, like ERDF and Regional
Growth Funding.
